Sweet Home Alabama

Patrick and I ventured (around 45 miles) to Mobile, Alabama today. Mobile is actually a bit of a charming area (lets not get crazy...we are still in Alabama) but they had some great shopping. I was spoiled rotten and clothes, diamonds, and a certain home security device was bought for me. We found the cutest dress shop and I got tons of dresses for 1/2 off. My cutest on (if you can believe it) for 5 dollars. The diamonds were in my wedding band so don't get too jealous, ladies ;) . On to dinner though, we came home...it was rainy and kind of chilly so I decided I was tired. Well, when I'm tired I make the most delicious dish which I refer to as "redneck dinner" don't judge me...it's still good. The recipe follows:

Redneck Supper/Dinner

1 box of Hamburger Helper (I prefer 3 cheese or cheeseburger macaroni or double if you're feeling frisky)
1 lb of ground turkey 93/7 or we used 90/10 tonight and brown it

follow the instructions on the box...yummy

serve with a martini (for the ladies) and a scotch (for the guys)

we finished it off with a wonderful dessert

Ashton's Fat Dessert
oreo cookies dipped in peanut butter
a glass of milk

Patrick's Dessert
oreos submerged into a glass of milk until mushy (as Ashton makes gross faces at him because she hates soggy food/bread)

So...that's the Redneck dinner friends...I mean come on...after all we DID go to ALABAMA today...it counts right?
